The Prophet's Son intertwines the lives of an internationally acclaimed young musician and a beautiful, young writer of paralleled popularity. While they discover their deep and abiding love for each other, they move powerfully in their faith and love for God and His people.
This film is rich in music, politics, and drama. It dares to reopen the wounds of Columbine, expose the heartache of homeless, runaway youth, and demonstrate the bold faith and love of Christian believers. In the ever-present longing of the main characters for each other, The Prophet'’s Son models purity in the kind of love that lays down its life for others. It is at once romantic and prophetic, demonstrating the power of love to conquer in every imaginable situation while preparing God’s people for impending judgment.
The Prophet's Son is the latest film by the top-selling writer Hun Sui East.

8 Second Dance is the latest 3D production created by the Digital Animation Center at the University of Colorado Denver. This short film was created by the 12 students of the DAC's Senior Class of 2011. The Digital Animation Center engages their senior students in a 3-semester capstone course in which the students must form a working animation studio, mimicking the production environment of the major animation studios throughout the world. For this, Chris served as Supervising Sound Editor.

The 12-episode web series, AKA Shaman, was produced by the University of Colorado at Denver Department of Theater, Film and Video Production. CBSD was commissioned to do 6 of the 12 episodes, since there was not enough time left in the production schedule to complete all 12 episodes. The remaining episodes simultaneously were handled by his respectable colleague, David Griesinger. The entire web series may be found online here, while just those that Chris contributed to may be found here.

In January of 2009, Mr. Dustin Seifert (Music Department Chair & Director of Bands at Eastern New Mexico University/Past-President of the NMMEA) in coordination with Don Gerheart (Executive Director of the NMMEA Board of Directors) commissioned a video promoting the NMMEA All-State program. With the enlisted help of colleague Robert Kemp, film studies major and solid proponent of the arts, they documented the event, resulting in the following advocacy video. It serves as a tool for furthering the awareness of the need for funding for music in New Mexico schools. The completion of this film was such a monumental success that, in January 2011, a second advocacy video was commissioned.
